Creator of sound pieces and short films, many of Jessica’s installations also hold soundscapes. Often these are made in natural spaces with the artist’s voice recorded over bird song, night time sounds, water, or rain on the roof for example. She also uses humming and spoken word and the natural sounds are manipulated – often slowed down.
